Also, some attendees asked about how to use Microsoft Copilot to record and transcribe meetings, as was mentioned during the webinar. Below is a step-by-step guide to doing it.

1. Enable Transcription:
  • During meeting creation: Select the “Record and transcribe automatically” option in the meeting options when scheduling the meeting, according to Microsoft Support.
  • During the meeting: If transcription wasn’t enabled at the start, the meeting organizer can select “More actions” (three dots) and then “Start recording and transcription.”
2. Access Copilot:
  • During or after the meeting, click the “Copilot” button in Teams.
  • If the meeting was recorded and transcribed, Copilot will have access to the transcript.
3. Utilize Copilot:
  • Copilot can then be used to summarize the meeting, identify action items, generate tables of information, and answer questions about the meeting content.
  • Copilot can be used during and after the meeting for these purposes.
4. Access Transcription:
  • The transcript will be available in the meeting chat or the recordings and transcripts tab.
  • You can view, download, or copy the transcript content.
