Chartered IIA Names Kiem as New CEO

The Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors, a professional organization for internal auditors in the United Kingdom and Ireland, has appointed Anne Kiem as its new chief executive.

Kiem has extensive leadership experience in the business, educational, and non-profit sectors. She joined the Chartered IIA from the Chartered Association of Business Schools (Chartered ABS), where as CEO for eight years she oversaw the organization being awarded its Royal Charter. Prior to her role leading the Chartered ABS, she was also CEO of the Institute of Financial Services. Kiem was awarded an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2019 for her services to small businesses and entrepreneurs.
